Refund Cancellation Changes

If it is more than 24 hours after your scheduled boarding hours, most service fees and tickets charges become non-refundable. Likewise, the amount paid for hotel reservations is non-refundable under any circumstances. However, the service costs charged for making hotel reservations may be refundable.

All cancellations of airline tickets and hotel reservations must be made over the phone. Only if the following requirements are met will we consider a refund request:

  • We can secure waivers from suppliers to complete the cancellation and refund as planned
  • If you have requested a cancellation and refund from us, and the fare laws allow for cancellation and refunds accordingly
  • If you don't have a ‘no show’ – The term ‘no show’ refers to a circumstance in which a passenger is not present at boarding and gives the airline no information about it. In most cases, if you do not show up at the time of your scheduled boarding, your booking becomes ineligible for a refund processing and/or waiver from the supplier.

We cannot provide any precise time estimates for the time it may take to process the requested refund. All refund requests must be processed in a specific order.

You will receive an e-mail notification from our end stating that the cancellation request has been accepted once submitted to our customer service agent. On the other hand, receiving a notification does not entitle you to a refund.

The e-mail notification is simply a confirmation that your request has been received, together with a tracking number. When we receive your cancellation and refund request, we will contact the suppliers to generate a waiver if your request is eligible for a refund. The supplier's decision will be final, and we will inform you of this.

The fees associated with the original bookings or reservations are non-refundable. Also, you must note that our team is entirely reliant on the suppliers’ decision to send us back the requested amounts.

Please remember that reimbursements are only available if the airline/supplier restrictions allow it. From the time you submit your request to receiving credit on your bill, it may take 60-90 days for the supplier to process the requested refund.

Other than the cancellation and refund charges levied by providers, including airlines, LetsFares.com will levy a ticketing service fee. All refund fees are calculated on a per-passenger or per-ticket basis.

The refund fees are only applicable if the supplier has allowed a waiver or if you have received a refund. If the provider does not process the requested refund, we will reimburse you for the post-ticketing service fees we levied. However, our booking fees for the original travel reservation or booking are not included in this.
